Services - Facilitation

Quoin Consulting's training sessions and workshops are designed and developed using our own systematic process that’s based on the ADDIE model. We use a variety of instructional methods and strategies in all facilitated training sessions.

Quoin's facilitators:

  • Have the skills to deliver training that we have developed, client-developed training, or training developed by a third party.
  • All have Masters degrees, are trained in delivery techniques, and are able to deliver technical and soft skills training.
  • Are well versed in a variety of instructional strategies, including mastery lecture, comparing and contrasting concepts, demonstrations, inquiry, problem solving, peer practice, scenario-based activities, discussion groups, co-operative learning groups, brainstorming, coaching, and drill and practice. Peer coaching and external coaching may also be utilized if appropriate.

Examples of training and workshops that Quoin has instructed and facilitated include:

  • Train-the–trainer (Federal government).
  • Technical training of proprietary programs (Federal government, Vancouver Coastal Health, Lehigh Cement, Occupational Health and Safety Agency for Healthcare).
  • Small group facilitated sessions (Pratt & Whitney Canada, City of Vancouver, Concordia University, Fujitsu Consulting, Occupational Health and Safety Agency for Healthcare).
